Recently, we have found this elusive bird very active in Sabah. They are in a group of six ( 3 pairs ) nesting at a very close distant each ( around hundred meter each ).
Whitehead’s Broadbill Calyptomena whiteheadi
( montane endemic birds of Borneo)
This is a species of bird in the Eurylaimidae family. It is restricted to montane forest in northern Borneo. It is the largest member of the genus Calyptomena.
Its back.... very active in these few weeks!
